Cornbread

Cornbread was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. From a young age, he developed a deep love for stories and history, drawn to the captivating narratives surrounding him. As he explored the streets of Nashville, he couldn't help but marvel at the beautiful architecture that adorned the city, leaving an indelible mark on his heart.

​

With an innate desire to share the rich history and cultural heritage of Nashville, Cornbread found his calling as a Tour Guide. Guided by his passion and outgoing nature, he embarked on a journey to immerse himself in the city's past and present, becoming a storyteller extraordinaire. He is currently the Lead Tour Guide at Puppet City Tours.

One of the most rewarding aspects of Cornbread's role is the opportunity to meet new people every day. He cherishes the interactions with guests from diverse backgrounds, appreciating the chance to share his passion and learn from their stories. Being a Tour Guide allows him to showcase the beauty of Nashville! 

 

Cornbread's interests extend to museums and concerts outside his tour guide duties. The Ryman Auditorium, a beacon of music history, became his go-to place to witness live performances by talented artists. He has already seen Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Sam Smith, and Lucius this year!

As we look ahead, Cornbread's future as a Tour Guide shines brightly, with many more stories to tell, memories to create, and hearts to touch. Through his passion, charisma, and love for Nashville, he continues to make the world fall in love with the city he calls home.

Jerry

Jerry is a remarkable individual known for his unwavering passion for teaching and his expertise as a tour guide. Born and raised in Cincinnati, he developed a deep love for his hometown and its rich history. From an early age, Jerry showed a natural talent for connecting with others and sharing his knowledge with enthusiasm.

​

Driven by his love for teaching, Jerry embarked on a journey to educate and inspire young minds. He found his calling in China, where he dedicated himself to teaching children how to speak English. His patience, creativity, and ability to make learning enjoyable earned him the admiration and love of his students and their families.

​

However, Jerry's quest for adventure and exploration didn't stop at teaching. Fascinated by the world of travel and culture, he decided to pursue a career as a tour guide. Guiding visitors through the vibrant city of Nashville, he found his groove on the famous Honky Tonk Highway. With boundless energy and a genuine love for music, Jerry's tours became an unforgettable experience for every traveler, especially when he led a lively group of bachelorettes who joyously cheered "woo hoo" throughout the journey.

Beyond his work, Jerry is an avid reader of self-improvement books. Constantly seeking personal growth, he delves into the wisdom of authors who inspire him to reach new heights. This dedication to self-improvement reflects in his approach to life, always striving to better himself and positively impact the lives of those around him.

Hermes

Hermes is originally from Memphis, Egypt. He came to Tennessee completely by accident. He booked a ticket back home to see his parents, but there was a mix-up with the airline. He somehow ended up at the base of the Bass Pro Shop Pyramid in Memphis, TN, instead! Hermes loved Tennessee so much, that he decided to make it his permanent home.

 

Hermes developed a deep fascination with the lives of Elvis Presley and Dolly Parton while living in Memphis. As he grew older, Hermes' love for music only deepened, and he found himself naturally gravitating toward becoming a Tour Guide. He started sharing interesting tidbits about Elvis and Dolly Parton during his part-time work at a local historical museum, and to his delight, the visitors were enthralled by his stories. It was during this time that Hermes realized he could turn his passion into a full-fledged career.

​

Determined to make a mark in the music tourism industry, Hermes embarked on a journey to Nashville, the enchanting Music City, where dreams were nurtured and melodies resonated in every corner. Armed with his genuine admiration for Elvis and Dolly Parton, Hermes sought to uncover the hidden gems and stories that connected these legendary artists to the city.

One of the most memorable moments in Hermes' career was when a group of Elvis fans from all over the world joined his tour. The exchange of personal connections to Elvis's music and the shared enthusiasm forged a sense of unity among strangers with a common love for music. It reinforced Hermes' belief that music transcends boundaries and brings people together, no matter where they come from.

Bartleby

Born and raised in the heart of country music, Nashville, Tennessee, Bartleby discovered his love for music at an early age. As a child, he received his first guitar, igniting a passion that would shape his life and career.

 

With a deep appreciation for Nashville's rich music culture, Bartleby decided to share his knowledge and love for the city by becoming a Tour Guide. Guiding tourists through the vibrant music scene, he showcased the historical significance of legendary music venues and the stories behind country music's greatest hits.

​

Bartleby's guiding skills were matched only by his talent as a musician. He honed his craft, crafting heartfelt and soulful country songs that resonated with audiences far and wide. His music journey took him to stages where he performed for prominent figures, including the President, the Queen of England and renowned artist Alan Jackson.

​

Bartleby Brick is the eldest Brick brother. Growing up, he always heard what a dead-ringer he was for Alan Jackson. At 17 years old, Bartleby hopped a train to Newnan, Georgia and entered the Alan Jackson Lookalike World Championship. He placed 2nd, which changed the course of Bartleby’s entire life. 

​

Today, Bartleby continues to inspire aspiring Tour Guides and musicians alike, sharing his story of determination, creativity, and the art of harmoniously blending two distinct passions. His unwavering dedication to both guiding and music serves as a testament to the power of pursuing one's dreams and embracing the opportunities that arise along the way.

As the world continues to be captivated by Bartleby's talent and charisma, he remains a true Nashville icon, leaving an indelible mark on the city's music scene and the hearts of those he guides and performs for.

Nick

Nick is a passionate and talented tour guide hailing from the vibrant city of Nashville. With a love for travel and a desire to explore the world, he embarked on a journey that would lead him to the most remarkable experiences and encounters. He is the youngest Brick brother and has performed with Bartleby for most of his life.

​

His journey into the world of tour guiding began with an unexpected encounter when he was walking down the street, singing show tunes. A perceptive agent recognized his angelic voice and offered him a life-changing opportunity to tour as a backup singer with none other than the iconic Lady Gaga. Nick's enthusiastic response of "YES!" opened doors to a whirlwind adventure that allowed him to see the world like never before.

​

Traveling with Lady Gaga exposed Nick to diverse cultures, music, and audiences from around the globe. It was during these tours that his passion for guiding others on their own travel adventures ignited. Witnessing the impact of sharing music and stories with audiences inspired him to take on a new role, guiding others through the fascinating destinations he visited.

​

As a tour guide, Nick possesses an innate ability to connect with people and create memorable experiences. He has a special place in his heart for Nashville, especially when he passes the Ryman Auditorium, where he dreams of performing at the prestigious Grand Ole Opry.

​

Despite a brief and intriguing entanglement with a high-end celebrity, Nick's discretion and professionalism are unwavering. He values privacy and respects the trust of those he encounters in his personal and professional life.

​

Looking ahead, Nick's eyes are set on new horizons. While he continues to create exceptional tour experiences, he dreams of expanding his repertoire to include captivating tours in Miami. His boundless energy and creativity promise thrilling adventures for travelers seeking unforgettable memories.
